Welcome to Full Day Pre-Kindergarten!

Our Full Day Pre-Kindergarten Program is developmentally appropriate and designed for children 4 and 5 years of age who are not eligible for kindergarten, or are looking for a structured program with an academic focus.  Like our other programs, it is theme-based and focuses on the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children this age. 

This program emphasizes independence in skills such as as cutting, coloring, writing, and completing projects with more complexity.  By integrating literature with reading readiness activities, writing opportunities, math manipulatives, science experiments, art projects, music, movement, technology, cooking and filed trips, we accomplish these skills.  The stimulation of young minds, and kindergarten readiness, is what this program is all about!

A TYPICAL DAY CONSISTS OF

Socialization and Free-choice Activities
Circle Time, including:  Songs, Fingerplays, Stories, Music and Movement
Color and Shape Reinforcement
Number and Letter Recognition and Writing
Patterning, Counting, Classifying
Values/Faith Formation   
Learning Centers - math, writing, language, science
Cooperative Learning
Arts and Crafts
Technology Lab (once a week)
Library (once a week)
Dramatic Play
Outside Play/Gym
Field Trips during the year
Progress reports/Conferences

Monday through Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm
