With students from pre-K(3) through grade 5, we are a "Small School with a Big Heart".  The community of St. Mary's School, an extension of St. Mary's Parish in Ballston Spa, NY, strives to provide a Catholic elementary education to the children entrusted to our care.  We will impart the principles to act both critically and creatively within our society by encouraging social awareness, truthful communication and responsible decision-making.  Our mission is to provide a quality Catholic education guided by the Gospel's spirit of love within an atmosphere of academic excellence that nurtures the growth in holiness and wholeness for each child.

We work in a partnership consisting of teachers, staff, parents, community members and students to accomplish our goals.  We, at St. Mary's, acknowledge the role of the parent as a child's first educator and draw on that expertise and knowledge to help us reach our goal of educating each and every child to their highest potential.  While we emphasize academic excellence, we also stress the importance of good citizenship, personal responsibility and stewardship.  Your child will be educated in a safe environment where all are shown dignity and respect.
